Design Generation

My personal history of generating desings started 2002 with a project that was called not very modes "Design Generator". It was a physically based system implemented with a physics engine of 3D Studio Max. The releations between spatial entities were represented as springs and the spaces itself as physical bodies. The distribution of the colored functions is controlled by attracting and repelling forces between them.
This first experiment resultet in nice animiations as shown in the video below. The model was implemented for the design of an area for media artists and entrepreneurs in Munich.
